YouTube HTML5 Player is broken or what?
I just checked out this funny video on YouTube. I noticed two strange things…
First, I got the ability to save the video directly to my computer from the context menu on the video.
Second… I could turn on the Chrome’s own HTML5 video player inside the YouTube video player!
Interesting.
Update: If you have turned on the HTML5 option on YouTube, you can notice the same behavior here!

Airtel Broadband going against network neutrality with IPL streaming on YouTube?
You might have heard this already. Airtel Broadband is the official broadband sponsor of the YouTube streaming of the Indian Premier League matches.
The company is offering free 2mbps streaming for all their customers on the IPL channel on YouTube.
I hate uploading videos to YouTube
Google has done a pretty decent job with the video upload functionality on YouTube but it still annoys me a lot.
The best thing is that it uses Google Gears (I think!) to allow multiple video uploads in one go.
