So, my IFB machine is acting up. The two year extended warranty is over. I called up the guy. He checked it out. Told me that a part needs replacement. It would cost me Rs. 1400 something.

Fine.

I asked about AMC so that I do not have to pay for individual parts. He told me that the costing is Rs. 5500 for two years.

Fine.

The problem is that the document he showed me had the price listed as Rs. 4500.

He made two excuses… 4500 does not include taxes. And also does not cover plastic parts of the machine. His amount includes both.

Of course, IFB website is pretty useless on this part. Their online feedback form? I never got a response to my queries I sent through that.

I guess I would have to pay him 1400+5500 to get the thing sorted out.
