The new font is bloody awesome! It shows the new Indian Rupee Sign. I am not sure if this alone would excite the Indian government to go open-source but it should.

A discussion was going on at the India Broadband Forum.
A user claimed that software installation on Windows is easier than on Linux.
Canonical is probably the last sane Linux company that still has the guts to provide free OS CDs with every release.
I had heard good things about it and most of them turned out to be true. Windows 7 is exactly what Windows Vista was supposed to be. It is visually appealing. And it works smoothly.
Linux seems to have touch 1% market share globally as per Hitslink for the first time ever.
And I am waiting…
Update. I am running Ubuntu 9.04 through Wubi right now and I am loving it. It’s FAST.
Too bad Google Gears and Google Chrome are not available on 64-Bit Linux. Chrome is not available on even 32-Bit Linux :D
