Star World showing Lights Out. Only 13 episodes exist.

Looks like Detroit 1-8-7 has ended on Star World. It has been replaced with a brand new show named Lights Out.

The good thing is that I like this new show. The bad news? It was killed after just 13 episodes.

Detroit 1-8-7 too was canceled recently I believe after the first season. So, Star World is just getting short lived shows that are probably cheaper to acquire.

They have done this in the past with shows like Wonderfalls and Titus.

You develop a taste for them and then they disappear randomly.

They were doing a better job by acquiring multiple seasons of shows like Las Vegas and Dexter. At least you knew that you can follow the story for at least a couple of months.

And do not even get me started on Glee. I am still recovering from the few minutes of it I saw tonight.

Star World Torrentz

Someone at Star World seems to have realized that a technology named Bittorrent exists!

The popular entertainment channel is running a promo named Star World Torrentz with a message that you no longer have to rely on illegal file downloading to get your daily dose of television content.

They have start showcasing some new series and I seem to kind of like them.

Burn Notice is not part of it. It replaced Lie to Me a while back. I kind of like this show. Two And A Half Men is another show that is not part of this series. It has been on Star World for a while now. I have not seen it regularly. But now that I am, I love it.

Now on to the new shows… The Good Guys is boring. In fact annoying. Colin Hanks reminds me way too much of his father. Which makes me sad. Because Tom Hanks is not doing enough movies these days.

Detroit 1-8-7 is one of the better ones. It is always good to see cop thrillers. White Collar is another one which I like. The Walking Dead is probably the best of the lot which an excellent music track as well. Do check these out.

By the way, Dexter is coming to Star World from next month. Shockingly enough, I have not seen one episode of this one. I would catch it on Star World…

A message for Star World

I want you to bring $h*! My Dad Says and Conan to Indian television screens.

I want you to stop promoting Koffee with Karan so much that I have pretty much stopped watching your channel.

Fix your shit. If Koffee with Karan is the best show you have to offer, I should probably switch to watching Zee Cafe full time at my end.
