I had confirmed tickets for the morning show at SRS. Apparently I made the wrong choice because the hall management sucks.

PVR Naraina Insanities
If the kid beggars were not a big problem in itself, PVR is trying to create an even bigger mess of its own.
They seem to have launched this offer where they are providing coupons to get a small cola with small popcorn for a discounted price of Rs. 50 along with the ticket.
Apparently the scheme is optional but the ticket dude was literally forcing down these combo packages to the customers buying the tickets.
He refused to give us the tickets without the stupid combo package. We complained to the manager at location and got the tickets without the coupons.
The security check is as irritating and intrusive as ever. I hear that the woman officer is worse when it comes to body checking.
I really wish that the staff at PVR theaters is sensitized. They are becoming a mess in literally every one of their halls.
Another thing… The parking ticket dude charged Rs 20 for the ticket which is worth Rs 10. I noticed the overcharged. He literally begged for the extra Rs 10. I was in a decent mood at that time so did not argue. It’s still much cheaper than parking in Gurgaon any day.
About the food… Pepsi tasted like shit today like it does on most other days. Popcorn were decent. Nachos are average. SRS has better qualtiy Nachos!

Yeah. It’s a horrible movie. So horrible that I would place it in the same category as Aks and Boom.
I made a mistake. It’s an Akshay Kumar movie. This means that the movie is tasteless, senseless, logicless, meaningless… and manymoreless.
I wanted to kill myself when I was watching this movie. You would probably want to do the same.
I had love to speak more about how bad the movie is. But I guess I would spend that time taking backups of the server which was down for the last couple of hours.
The interval showed the trailer of the upcoming Aamir Khan movie: Tare Zameen Par. I missed it coz I was out in the line buying Popcorn.
The SRS Theater guys cut the end credits which had the song Hare Ram Hare Ram Hare Krishna Hare Ram… I hate them for doing that.
SRS Gurgaon Movie Theater
Nice hall. Local people on the counters can be a bit irritating but the seats are nice and comfortable. Especially, the head rest is awesome. The entry to the halls would make you believe like you have arrived in a dance bar with all those bright lights.
Sad thing: No English movies. They seem to be currently playing just the Hindi movies. They were playing Guru last week!
Parking is free in the mall. Though tickets and edible items are priced on par with PVR/DT Cinemas. The mall is not fully established so there are not many options for having lunch.
