I bet this is going to be more frustrating than dealing with Airtel Presence folks. I am prepared for the worst. At least I have a backup connection that is working even though it is costing me a fortune.
Last time I checked Tata DOCOMO, Idea and Vodafone had 3G licenses for Haryana.
I assumed that applied to Gurgaon too.
But this tweet from the Tata DOCOMO team is rather mmm surprising.

That means Airtel, Reliance and Vodafone are going to serve in Gurgaon?
I had shop for my niece today. It’s her birthday today. We decided to checkout Reliance Time Out which has a pretty big dedicated section for kid stuff.
Funny enough, the entire section had just 3 decent sized stuffed toys. One of which (the one we liked) was in filthy condition. They had no extra pieces. The ones on display were the ones on sale.
We bought some stationary items from there. There were 5-6 billing counters. How many were functional? One. It took them 15 minutes to process our order. Why? The bar code machine was not working properly.
Then we went to Reliance Digital to check out digital photo frames. Two guys I asked had no idea what I was talking about. The third dude confirmed that they do not carry them.
The sheer amount of investments they have done in these stores… They should have hired better people to interact with shoppers.
Update: They have just made a post on the forum…
I would be keeping an eye on the new developments on the forum on this particular social media interaction! :)
I happen to visit service providers operated by both the Ambani brothers. I was disappointed at both the locations.
The Reliance Fresh store in my sector always disappoints me. Today was no different.
I went there to get some stuff. I saw a board saying that they are running a scheme where I can get 2 Nike Deodorants for the price of one.
I went to that counter and told the guy to give me the 2 units that are covered by that scheme.
He gives me two Nike Deodorants.
I then go to the payment counter. The machine refuses to accept the discount and shows me the bill for both the units.
I checked with the guy on the Deo counter and the end result was that he removed the discount sign from his stall because the system was either malfunctioning or not programmed to give out the discount itself.
Excellent.
They had laid the wires and now they are offering free connections.
A dude landed at my place with all the brochures and false promises.
I said. No thanks. I had like to stay a mile away from Reliance. You already have it just in front of my house. I do not want to plague to enter my house.
