Wii Golf Pro status

I don’t have the patience to play this game considering the controllers are not sensitive enough for my taste. Maybe it’s the fault of the Wiimotes but I don’t like it.

But Ankit seems to love Golf and he plays pretty good at it. And he just became a Pro on it. And sadly nothing exciting happened.

Looks like you gain nothing when you become a Pro in Golf.

What a terrible week it has been

Shocked by the insane electricity bill, I got another shock today when my Airtel Broadband line went down big time.

Not a regular downtime… The telephone line has gone dead and so has the net connectivity. What can I do about it? Nothing.

Left car outside the house for a couple of hours and what we have here? Brand new scratches. No, someone did not hit my car… It’s the neighbor kids who did the damage. What can I do about it? Nothing.

So, I tried playing Wii for a while. No can’t do. Power cut messes up an interesting game of tennis with the computer which is now playing like Pete Sampras with my near 2000 points.

I wait for a while. I wait for sometime more. Power comes back. So I turn on the Wii to play some Bowling. Excellent game. I tried spinning the ball this time and I had fun.

I became a Pro. Got a brand new sparkling ball! It slides even more. What fun.

Oops. No. Yet another power cut.

I decided to blog. This is the only thing I can do right now. And I hope net would come back alive today. So that I would be able to put this ranting online. For all you guys who love to make fun of my terrible life!

Nintendo Wiimote Batteries

Just realised that one of the two Wiimotes is already dead due to probably dead batteries. Online reports suggest that they last for between 15-25 hours. I surely have used them for that long. So no surprise.

Would be getting rechargeable batteries today. Would see how they perform.

Reminds me of the times I was using wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Was pretty irritating. The Wiimote has also seemed to behave glitchy on Wii Golf now. Not good…

Beh… Friends

The Wiimote comes with a sturdy strap to prevent any mishaps. But my stupid friend here managed to throw the Wiimote while playing Golf. God damn it… I wanted to kill him at that very moment. But some invisible force stopped me.

As I had read online… The Wiimote is pretty sturdy itself and it seems to be working well.

Too bad it was the unit that came with the Wii itself. The spare unit sold to me seems to have some problem with its in-Wiimote sound and I would have to argue about that with the retailer tomorrow.

Duh Palika guys… Why do you keep on selling refurbished faulty parts to customers paying for the real thing. :(
