Brawn GP wins again. Jenson Button changed his strategy and that helped him stay ahead of Rubens Barrichello. Overall a great race to watch.

French Grand Prix 2008
Awesome race today. Ferrari one-two is always wonderful. Massa was lucky because of the problem with Räikkönen’s car.
Trulli was the hero of the race as he kept the faster McLaren behind. Loved how Piquet dominated Alonso…
Hamilton seems to have become the eyesore for FIA… he seems to offend them all the time. Good for Ferrari!
Massa leads the championship!
Force India? They are now where they should be. At the bottom!
As for Star Sports, they suck. Too many ads during the race time. And that too stupid ones. I do not want to see Alonso’s stupid face during these breaks. I also do not want to see Honda’s fuel efficiency ads. I also do not want to see the Mango drinks ads. If they are charging close to Rs. 50 for the channel for each channel in a house, they should have some decency to have decent coverage!
Canadian Grand Prix 2008
Funny race overall. Hamilton crashes into Kimi inside the pit lane! Alonso had a crash too. Massa was unlucky in pit strategy but made a good comeback. BMW won their first race. Kubica won his first race.
The most interesting part?
Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were both penalized by stewards for the bizarre pit lane collisions during Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix.
The pair will move ten places back on the Magny Cours grid in a fortnight, the French news agency AFP reports.
Vijay Mallya can have some relief now
Adrian Sutil might have had an accident with Kimi Räikkönen at the Monaco Grand Prix but he would not have scored those points anyways.
Latest report states that he would have been penalized for overtaking during the yellow flag period resulting in him dropping back to as low as 10th spot.
So, the Force India car was not even supposed to be where it was. And that stunt might have resulted in a faulty end result for the rest of the cars on the grid.
Malaysian GP 2008: Kimi Räikkönen Wins!
Not a very big surprise there. Hamilton was fifth. And Alonso was eighth.
Force India had their men at 12th and 20th position. Not bad for a second race.
I so feel bad for Lewis Hamilton
I was sitting in CCD when we suddenly realized that the F1 race today would be over by then and we would have a new champion.
I wanted Lewis Hamilton to win of course. But there was this thing in my mind that wanted Ferrari to win.
Ferrari not Kimi Räikkönen I must say. And that happened some how. Big surprise. I got the news from Puneet who probably thought that I was pulling his leg by asking him the question on a SMS at 1 am in the morning.
He gave me the race result with a twist of sarcasm. I thought he was kidding and telling me the result I wanted to hear. I confirmed the result by checking the news on my mobile. Tata Indicom’s mobile internet comes handy at times like these. :)
And it was indeed a pretty big shock to see the totally unexpected result in todays race.
Hamilton would win the championship someday. He is the new Raikkonen considering Raikkonen has now removed the tag of great-driver-to-have-not-won-a-championship. :)
As for Alonso… He can go and do something that I would not like to mention here. Congrats to Raikkonen and a job well done to Hamilton.
PS. The race result makes me think of so many conspiracy theories on what could have happened in the backend. Ferrari being pretty much satisfied with the penalty applied on McLaren earlier this year is one of them. I would not say much on that. I am just plain happy that Ferrari would have the No. 1 car next season.
