I liked the first one better.
Villains? They are much more powerful. But in the end… it just took Iron Man to use a new piece of technology and they are gone. I mean… It should not have so much easier for the Iron Man to just kill the bad guy!

I just returned back from Iron Man 2 show and I think the version I saw did not have the ‘Go get ‘em, boss’ sequence on the plane. This scene was in the trailers. CollegeHumor even did a parody of this sequence…
So we watched Sherlock Holmes last night. I have been a fan of Guy Ritchie for sometime now.
His vision of Holmes is pretty interesting. I doubt I would have liked a regular movie based on the popular fictional character.
Had been waiting for this movie and I saw it today. It was pretty decent.
However, it would have been even better if the Hulk was taller (as in the first movie)…
Action movies are more fun when the villain is stronger than the hero. This movie was one such case…
But it was fun to watch definitely. Third movie is still not confirmed. But I am sure they would make it anyways.
Tony Stark appeared in the movie… Was good to see him once again. Iron Man kicked ass. It’s hard to find a movie as amusing as the Iron Man.
Next up… Hancock. Coming on July 4 here in India.
Fantastic movie. I loved it. Robert Downey Jr. is just awesome as the latest superhero on the block. The movie seemed like a combination of Spiderman and Transformers. The storyline of the first Spiderman movie and the action sequences of the Transformers.
The fun moments were also there when the terrorists were speaking in Hindi language at the start of the film. Made no sense considering I do not expect people in Afghanistan to speak Hindi!
And as mentioned earlier, the movie has a small scene featuring Samuel L. Jackson after the credits. We were alone in the theater by the time that scene came on the screen. Luckily the PVR guys did not throw us out as the two guys there knew about the end scene and were ok with us waiting to check it out.
DT Cinemas would never allow that :D.
Forgot to add that the soundtrack of the movie is awesome.
