Yahoo Messenger fix for Pidgin!
If you are facing trouble connecting to Yahoo Messenger protocol using Pidgin… Try adding this line in your host file…
66.163.181.170 scs.msg.yahoo.com
Seems to work for me. I guess this could be used till Pidgin releases an update.

I always knew that like all Microsoft products, this was bloated.
AOL AIM hates Windows Vista
If you are a Vista user avoid installing AOL AIM IM. Two reasons:
1. It sucks (this makes it crap for every platform)
2. It can result in a messed up Vista installation. I had to use system restore to recover. One of the potential problems is: “The Network List Service terminated with an error: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested services”.
You have been warned ;)
Facebook Chat now working in my account!
Facebook Chat was launched a couple of days ago. It’s now activated in my account. I really do not have much use for it considering all the friends I have on Facebook are online on my messenger. And that means I am already in touch with them. ;)
