Airtel Broadband Charges for USB Cable?

I like Airtel Broadband due to several reasons. One of the major reasons is that they do not charge the customer for petty things. Things like shifting from one place to another and things like network cables and splitters.

However, a customer of Airtel Broadband is now disappointed that the company is now charging for the USB cable that is required to connect the modem to his computer. If that is true, it is a very sad thing.

India Broadband Forum on Google!

I am impressed!

India Broadband Forum on Google

Does not change much for me but would get Mr. Parminder Chahal to work even harder on his spoof sites!

Update: Just found out that he is now on a mission to make his forum India’s leading ISP related discussion forum. Sadly, he is taking it all in the wrong way. Why try replicating the wheel… He could do something better. Mr. Chahal, here is a suggestion. Start something based on MouthShut but make it democratic. And don’t ruin it with Ads like you so much like to do to your websites. And please stop using the same theme and logo on your .co.in website.

Deepak Srivastav in Airtel Broadband

The company has stopped delivering night time double speeds. A user on the India Broadband Forum posts the email id of a senior dude named Deepak Srivastav on the forum asking other members on the forum to email him asking him to do something about it.

And what does Airtel do? Call me and make legal threats that posting the email id of that dude is illegal or something like that.

Come on guys, be serious. Posting the email id of a dude in your company is illegal? Under what law? It’s not even his personal email id. It’s his corporate email id. And you are providing us a service for which we pay you. Right?

What’s next? Sue me for using that dude’s name on this blog post?

Maybe you can give him a piece of your mind at: deepak[dot]srivastava[at]airtel[dot]in.
