Google has done a pretty decent job with the video upload functionality on YouTube but it still annoys me a lot.
The best thing is that it uses Google Gears (I think!) to allow multiple video uploads in one go.
Google Gmail was down for a lot of people last night.
I was sleeping through the whole ordeal but it is not a new thing.
I have been waiting to get this functionality since the time I read about it first online.
Google has finally given me its blessings.

Earlier when I tried uploading multiple videos on YouTube, I had to download and install an application to enable the functionality.
However, this time around using Google Chrome I noticed that Google has used Gears to power the same functionality on YouTube. No need to download the software and install it on your machine.
Now, that’s awesome. The alternative to ActiveX that is not that evil!
