This is the first time I am noticing an ad below the email message. I have noticed it on newer mail accounts. My Gmail experience is ruined now.

Google announced it today and delivered it today as well. Awesome.
I am already using the new theme. I believe you should be able to detect it and not show me that message!

Just like Gmail!
I write this annoying blog post stating some stuff that is being annoying me for a while. Google has announced some new features on their services that were to be delivered to us but I am yet to get them…
First of them? The new Blogger dashboard. It still has not arrived on my Blogger in Draft account.
Second of them? Gmail People Widget! It was supposed to be out for all by now. Not in my account.
There is some more stuff that is much awaited from Google…
Google Chrome 12 has been launched. This edition no longer includes the Gears technology and that means Gmail loses offline support. Google promised to deliver HTML5 powered Offline Gmail by summer this year. They should have launched it along with the release of Chrome 12. But it is not clear when offline Gmail would finally arrive.
Official browser extensions for the Google +1 functionality.
A good response to Apple iCloud. They could certainly offer some more goodies to the owners of Android based devices like increased storage on Google Picasa Web?
Some surprises… Google delivered the new Google Music app to my Nexus S today. It has support for the Google Music service which is funnily enough not available in India. Google also delivered Google Books as an update when I did not even have the app installed on my phone. I wonder what is happening at the company. Things that were announced are not being launched. And weird things are happening otherwise.

I understand Google not allowing any kind of sorting functionality in Gmail. Hotmail provides one. But it is useless for me.
Google recently launched a new feature on their Gmail service.
Priority Inbox… It is yet to arrive in my inbox though I know what it is going to do to my email checking habit.
Strangely, I am able to manage my email easily… But RSS Feeds? Now that is a totally different beast.
I guess it is a pretty acceptable fact that the same feature is likely to land on their Google Reader platform… I had like to have something like that on my Opera RSS Reader.
Opera seems to have totally forgotten that it has a mail client and an RSS reader inside their browser… Most of their new versions are well turning out to be mmm problematic for long time users.
I guess pretty much all of you must have seen the new updated Gmail user interface.
There are several annoyances I am facing with it currently. The biggest one is the mail selection which is now presented through a drop down rather than through direct links. This change has become a major usability nightmare for me now.
I also dislike the new compose button which is well too highlighted now. Very distracting for someone like me.
But one thing that has been very impressive is that Gmail has become much faster for me with this update. I am not sure if this is just a placebo effect. But it is very smooth for me now. I had started using the Flaky Connection mode with Offline Gmail to get a similar effect earlier. But now, I get seriously improved performance on regular mode.
No one else I know can confirm this performance improvement aspect. What about you guys?
