I am trying to switch a WordPress based blog to Posterous. It has been more than 10 days. They are still apparently working on it. I get highly personalized support. I have a free account. Waiting for the latest status on my project.
I gave up trying to download my Flickr Pro account to my computer myself using the Flickr API. I got myself a paid account on Backupify. The service seems to have downloaded a lot of content from Flickr. But there is no notification about how many items are still to be downloaded. And how much space is being consumed in my account. They are likely to give me ZIPs for easy downloading. Waiting for an update on that too.

Hah. This has been an adventure. I do not get all the features I want. But overall, the experience is very good. Best Twitter application ever!
The developer did his best to help me get my Flickr account offline. He even provided me some custom builds with resume support. But the problem seems to be with my Airtel Broadband connection that somehow fails to work smoothly with Flickr API. Very good application if you are a Flickr user.
