BSNL Broadband blocking sites?

I am getting more and more signs that BSNL broadband has collaborated with some net filtering company to block access for their users to a list of websites.

People are reporting that they are unable to access perfectly normal websites.

It is similar to how some types of websites are blocked in your office because they are deemed to make the employees unproductive.

But BSNL Broadband is for home users who should have the freedom to access whatever they want. Even if it’s the crappiest, most unsafest places on the web.

BSNL gives Broadband Dialer for Linux in EXE Format

BSNL has made available a broadband dialer for the Linux operating system. The problem is that the file is in .exe format.

I checked the file and found out that they have compressed the RPM files in a ZIP format which is then turned into an executable archive using WinZip.

Bunch of idiots.
