ASUS Eee PC launched in India

Asus has finally launched their Eee PC in the Indian market. This comes after HCL launched their own branded Intel Classmate machines here in India.

I am more interested in the Asus machine considering it is a pretty usable device. However, the price of Rs. 18000 for the 4GB model is somewhat disappointing.

Of course it is one heck of a portable computing device. But not many homes in India would buy it as a secondary machine when the same price can get you a pretty decent desktop computer.
