Apple iPad 2 launches. Google Android Tablets are still messed up.

Steve Jobs surprised a lot of us by appearing on the stage to launch the second generation Apple iPad.

It goes on sale from March 11. Unlocked. Supports both CDMA and GSM networks. How cool and simple is that?

Google on the other hand has a mess on their hand with Motorola Xoom. Verizon only. Needs one month package activation to get the Wi-Fi working on it. Prices are confusing.

If I want to buy an Android 3.0 Tablet today, I still have no solid option sitting here in India. The Android smartphones I have owned have both been Nexus branded. Sadly, the Xoom has turned into a mess and I would have to wait for another Google supported device.

All I want is a GSM 3G based Android 3.0 loaded Tablet PC that is supported by Google on the software side…

Is Priyanka Chopra cheating on Nokia with the Apple iPhone?

I am slightly confused here. By some insane coincidence, I landed on the ‘verified’ Twitter account of Priyanka Chopra.

Typical celebrity account.

However, I was somewhat amused to see that she is using Twitterrific to tweet.

I checked Twitterrific website. It is only available for Apple Mac, Apple iPad and Apple iPhone.

Now, her account also has some posts from ‘web’. So, I assume she uses the Twitter website itself if she is on a computer.

This tells me something. Priyanka Chopra is most likely using an Apple branded smartphone. That is the iPhone.

And from what I remember, she advertises for Nokia. Not sure if her deal with Nokia has ended.

Something is really fishy here. Nokia PR folks should be alarmed.

She is congratulating Nokia. And the tweet was posted using Twitterrific. She could have been using a Mac. But I am still guessing she uses an iPhone. She was in Gurgaon last night for the launch of Culture Gully. I doubt, she would be tweeting from a laptop (or even the Apple iPad) while traveling.
