Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap

Fascinating movie. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Some parts were weird. Other parts were damn funny. The people who made the movie had a simple message at the end… they missed seeing Amitabh in such roles so they made a movie as a tribute. It was fun. If you have been an Amitabh fan at any point of time in your life, you should watch this. It’s not that bad.

And yes… By watching this movie, I have made my own tiny contribution to the Big B’s grandson fund. Heh.

By the way, I wish Amitabh Bachchan was wearing a helmet while riding his Harley Davidson on the roads. If I remember correctly, he was riding in one scene but not in another one.

Sarkar Raj

I had no plans to watch this movie but ended up watching it anyways.

The movie is a disappointment overall. The storyline is very impressive and cleverly designed.

Sadly, expect for Amitabh, rest of the cast is just ordinary. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Bachchan included.

As already known, Ramu would perhaps now direct another sequel probably named Miss Sarkar with Aishwarya in the lead!

This movie has the same problems as most Ramu movies. People chosen to play the negative characters are too weak. They just do not feel as threatening as they are made to look.

Another problem is that the characters are not properly developed. They just appear out of nowhere.

When villains need to kill Abhishek, they find an easy way and their work is done.

When Amitabh needs to know the truth about everything and everyone, he gets it done. And we are not told how.

It’s like hardy boys novels… You do not do anything coz the script is designed to do it for you.

Shahrukh is licking my feet…

Aamir Khan does something unimaginable. He writes about the dog of the caretakers of his house. The dog is named Shah Rukh and he says he has nothing to do with the naming ceremony of the dog.

I cannot see the comments section working now. It was till morning today and SRK fans had responded to the post by posting vulgar comments about Kiran Rao. I did read some really nasty comments on the post.

I am not sure what made Aamir write that post. I do hope he had something positive in his mind. I take it as awkward sense of humor on his part.

Amitabh Bachchan too is not doing badly either. In one of his recent blog posts he compared the TRP ratings of the shows featuring him and Shah Rukh. Again, a strange coincidence.

Update: Comments are working on Aamir’s blog. Just that you have to log in to see them…
