HTC is launching the Google G1 mobile phone in USA next month. Europe gets it in November. Asia? No clue.
I expect HTC to bring this phone to India sometime next year. But considering they have been sleeping with Airtel since some time now, they would bring it all locked up.

I went to pay the electricity bills (highly inflated as usual) and was amazed to see the guy using a computer. Not very advanced but still much improvement.
They feed the data in the computer and print a small message on the bill as a receipt. No stamps and no signatures.

One of the sanest entries for Oscar ever from India. I do think that this movie has a pretty good chance at the Oscars. Lagaan was good but definitely not Oscar material.

The funny thing is that the presentation on this website does not even show how the phone can be used to dial numbers! All they highlight are the web related aspects. Pretty darn funny. I thought it was a phone first.

Just came back from Mother Dairy and realized that they have again hiked the price. The full cream milk comes at Rs. 26 per liter.
I think the last time I was buying milk for the house; I was paying around 20-21 bucks for it. When I was a kid, it was probably around 12-14.
