Insanity Rediscovered

Neh, we did not go to any of the malls to buy cloths or perfumes. Instead, we went to the local sadar bazaar to buy flour and masalas for the house. And it was a pretty scary experience considering the shopkeepers were looking at us like we were some aliens. We had no idea what price the flour was supposed to be and same applies to masalas and other stuff. When we ordered a kilo of haldi, the guy laughed and asked us if we were having a whole bhandara. In the end, we managed to get 15 days worth of stuff only to realize that we forgot to purchase some of the more basic essentials required on a daily basis.
