I happened to land on this page which talks about a possible remake of the classic Amar Akbar Anthony. It’s being directed by David Dhawan and features Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan, and Sohail Khan as Amar, Akbar, and Anthony respectively.
After making stupid replicas of all those Hollywood movies, it looks like now these Indian filmmakers have decided that we would have real bad stupid replicas of our own Hindi classics.

Today was a rather weird day. Ankit is getting married and one of the pre-marriage functions was there. Went there.

this is going to be soOOOOO bad.. If they wanted people w/ the last name khan. They shoulda done Shahrukh as Amitabh. Salman as Vinot. and Amir as Shashi. That woulda been amazing!
Arbaaz is garbage and not body likes him and sohail is a swollen version of salman. This is going to be reallllllllllllllllllllly bad. I hope they don’t screw it up.
BTW what do you get if you kick salman khan 10 times in the face?

Hey this movie has to rock, because the Khan brothers are simply the three best actors that bollywood has ever seen ! Sharukh Khan is really popular also but when Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail come together, Sharukh is no match in my book.
Besides, Sohail Khan is my favorite actor in the world and he is absolutely the best ! And anyone who wants to disagree with me can go take a hike !

After initially hearing that the three khan brothers are going to be init. I was bitterly disapointed, there are many great actors out there with good comic timing like Abhishek, Saif, Akshay Khanna to name a few.
After giving it quite a bit of thought I came to realise that it may work, if Arbaaz played the serious Inspector Amar, Salman to play Anthony and Sohail to play Akbar.
Well today I have seen the lineup for the main three characters and I was right that Sohail will play Akbar, but Salman will play Amar and Arbaaz (captain Killjoy) will play Anthony. How the hell is that going to work, Anthony is the life of the show, at least Salman can make you laugh. But Arbaaz is such a miserable fucker.

Yo I think dis film iz gona be shit .. bcz sohail abaaz r jus some little new comers with no experience at al .. i think they shud’nt play such a legendary tole like amar n akbar n salman needs more support in da film 4rom actorz lyk *Shahruk* ofcourse da best eva (no comparasision 2 al da put da khan bros 2gather),,, n actorz lyk aamir.!!!

I think this film is going to be good i just hope its not messed up like don with the jeans and singing disco songs like the new Main Hoon Don. The new Main Hoon Don sounds so uhh compared to the old one. I hope that the clothes and scenery is very similar to the old scenery when they did the shooting for the song My Name Is Anthony Gonzalves…thats if its still in there. If it is then that would be so hot and I am a long time fan of Amitabh Bachchan so whenever I see one of his films being remade I try and see if it comes close to the original.
