I think I thanked the power department of Gurgaon a bit too soon. Though, the power cuts are few, the quality of power supply leaves a lot to desire about. The fluctuations are so bad that I keep hearing the voltage stabilizer working hard on fixing the disturbances. The tubelight keeps blinking due to dancing power supplies. The energy meter for recording electricity consumption by domestic customer has been installed at there premises and Nigam’s ‘Meter Reader’ is duty bound to record the readings at regular interval and also put the same on ‘meter reading card’ so that consumer can verify the actual consumption of electricity by him with the electricity bills raised by the Nigam.Presently DHBVN Ltd. is not following its own procedure and consumers are being harassed by putting and claming wrong bills. Please take up the issue with Nigam to get the procedure implemented by its Faridabad/Gurgaon office in benefits of all consumers.
