Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitaran Nigam



This is the name of the power company, which supplies electricity to my home. This post is to thank them for not cutting the electricity of my home despite the fact it was drizzling the whole evening!

Maybe they would fix this glitch soon to make amends for their error in judgment earlier today!

Whoa, a positive post! This would make a lot of people happy who tell me that I always keep on ranting on my Blog… Three cheers for Sushubh! Hip Hip Hurray, Hip Hip Hurray, Hip Hip Hurray!!!

    dear sir
    sir i live at faridabad dabua colony and from 5 times i am getting the wrong bill regularly..
    and i have to go u r sec 23 faridabad office.. for corraction for my bill.and i go to submit my bill payment at 2no. market .every time u r employ promice me that u r next bill will be correct… but same problem i m facing from last 5 months…

    my duty is to make payment at right time ..and u r duty??????
    sorry to say but u r staff is not able for that post. becouse.. they are not going their job.

    can u do something .to solve my problem

    I am owner of Meter No. CD-1025, A/C No.CT11-1140,K No.2112015404. A team under Sh.Ashok,CODE-1189 visited my premises on10-11-2008 and inspected vide Memo No.14802/1295030 with remarks -C-79.34,-79.33. The details are not known whereas Meter Seals were intact. Results of inspection may kindly be provided

    Complaints attending is very slow there should be system to attend the complaints fruequently.either in fault repair or in administration.

    On 18th December, 2007 I lodged a Tatkal compliant no. A-1815 in DHBVN, Gurgaon at Mehrauli Road of a meter sparking at my residence and also lodged a complaint in the office No. 17828 of the above sparking but till date there is no action taken by the deprtment. After follow-up again and again they asked that the Meter is not available at our end so wai for some time. I am totally frusteted with their attitude. I request you to suggest me what will I do to change my meter.

    It will be of great help to all electricity consumers in Haryana if the DBHVN department facilitate payment of bills through internet /credit cards etc. This will be a boon to elderly people and women.

    I and my wife jointly purchased one three bed room flat/floor in DLF phase II. The electricity meter which was previously own by the prevoius owner has been removed by the DHVBN staff view default in payment.

    What is the procedure and documentation required to request for new connection? Please advice.

    Dear Prabhat, reducing the electricity supply from 220 to 110 volts does not mean we will have more electricity.
    But wouldn’t that be cool? By your logic, if the Electricity Supply is at 0 Volts then we have infinte power!!

    My Idea is to convert electricity 220 volts to 110 volts , as it is in america, so we can have 50% electricity more, and our appliances should also be 110 volt operated as in america, If we do this I feel that we can come out of the power faliure problem, may be in the begening it is difficult to do so but latter on it will help the whole nation.
