More about Suzuki Swift
I think I should talk something about Swift other than that scratch! Well, I have just completed the first 600 KM in the car and have some idea on how it performs. The car is very comfortable and spacious. Though, I can’t say there is still enough seat in the back just behind me if I am driving considering my height.
Average? Disappointing to say the least. Especially considering it is not a very performance oriented car. Uses the same engine as Maruti Esteem, but gives just around 12-13 KM to a liter. And I bet a Maruti 800 would beat it in a straight-line race until the Swift crosses the 100 km/hr mark.
The good thing is that mom has disallowed me to drive the car to Chandigarh, so I won’t be driving it much after all. The less I drive, the less I spend on petrol! That is a nice feeling after all. Considering, I moved to this 12kmpl crap after the 50kmpl Splendor, it is a huge change for me.
