Ramesh Sippy’s Taxi No. 9211
Ramesh Sippy’s Taxi No. 9211
I saw a couple of movies in the last couple of days. However, never cared to write about them. Saw this new flick last night and the only thing I could remember from it was bad acting from John Abraham, poor choice of Sameera Reddy as the chick in the movie and Nana’s boob sucking act on Sonali Kulkarni.
Another impressive factor was the speed by which John was switching between the mobile handsets from a Nokia 6600 to the sleeker Moto Razr during the continues scenes. Perhaps, Bipasha and John were exchanging them on a daily basis during the shooting days of those scenes.
Another disturbing scene was when John was paying Nana money (good money, mind you!) for driving fast and breaking the rules. And when John was driving on a highway with no seat belts and using a mobile while doing that. Talk about reality and you get it… I would have missed it but the only other option was Harrison Ford’s Crash, which I wanted to avoid for a good reason.
Talk about good movies, and you have none on your hands for the next couple of months. Looks like we would have a dearth of boring stupid movies in the time being.
Almost a co-inidence here
. I was going to watch Crash but was persuaded to watch Taxi. Which theater were you at? I was at Spice PVR Noida.

My mini review.
Sonali Kulkarni and Sameera Reddy in good for nothing roles.
Nana rocks and thats the reason I went in for the movie. Brilliant acting.
John Abraham is popularly called as Chikna, has managed to make women and some men swoon over him. He’s good for Bipasha at the moment.
End of review.

FYI, the movie is a rip-off of “Changing Lanes” (Ben Affleck and Samuel Jackson) which came on star movies a year or two ago, with the subplots broken up and mixed up here n there.
But yes, it’s still worth it coz of Nana’s role (the wisecracks throughout the movie
