Sushubh sounds like a normal name?
22 years I have had this name. And all these years, I never found anyone else having this name (except for someone who had this as the second name as per Google and its malicious crawlers). Many people have actually told me that they have heard of this name and even met someone with this name. However, none of them could recall the concerned person. This post is not about me bragging about my name but about an incident today. Someone messaged me on messenger asking me a Yahoo! Messenger related question. Now, I am not a Yahoo! employee let alone a Yahoo! Messenger specialist so I was intrigued. I asked why and where did she contacted me. The reply came, she though I was some computer geek after reading my Blog. Wow, I thought I sounded like some freaked out insane individual rather than some computer g33k. Ok good enough, but how did she reach my Blog?
Amazingly, she was searching for swastika. No, not the one associated with some individual known as Adolf Hitler, but the one described by Wikipedia as:
Sanskrit “good luck” or “well-being”, literally “blessed form”
And well, she apparently could not find anything, so she turned to shubh (lucky charm) than shubh shubh and then sushubh. I am a bit confused but I have a feeling that someone just might have fumbled across my name originally after around 23 years. 23 years ago, it was one of my maternal grand mothers who gave this name to me!
