We were not no lucky so as to remember anybody of modern ages. Airtel took whole 30 hrs (yes, 30 hours) to locate the reasons for the disruption of 2 Mbps line - you know what! It 's just mere 15 minutes test needed to locate this kind of problem generally. They had spent more than 29+ hours or so in not letting into customer's suggestion (to look at their end - MUX or something) and inventing exotic stories to explain why they do not want to investigate at their end. Finally they had budged in and accepted that their MUX or something was the cause and did something to restore the services. Better to have services, albeit at snail pace; rather than completely shut off from your clients and the rest of world. You were lucky to remember SIFY.
