I have always been amused on what the ICICI stands in the ICICI Bank. Was curious and found it today on the Wikipedia. The full form is:

Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India

Awesome.

Of course, this full form does not apply anymore as the bank is now officially known as ICICI Bank.
