The beauty of simplicity
My PC is a pretty decent machine. Last time I checked, it ran Unreal 2004 Tournament pretty nicely. Low resolutions but totally playable. But apparently this is not good enough. One of the zillions of my nephew came today with my cousin brother… Started shouting I want to play game, I want to play game as soon as he saw a PC here. Well, a game on my PC? Where to find it… Oh yeah… I have Hulk installed that I borrowed from a friend for few days. Loaded it and handed over the keyboard to him. 15 minutes later, he was bored… gave him Unreal Tournament, of course it was too complicated for him… Then I realized he was in second standard and was totally oblivious of the internet genre. He needed something basic…
Downloaded Dave and within a minute, he was hooked. He kept playing it for 2 hours and I had some time off from my routine schedule…

the point here was not the game he would have liked. the point was that today’s games are so awfully complicated for small kids. take me for instance… i cant play most of the games coming out today coz they need me to think while playing.
