Virender Sehwag on Lahore Test Match
Just read this statement from Virender Sehwag on the ongoing Lahore Test Match…
“I have played lot of cricket but this is the best track to bat on because the ball is coming onto the bat and there is no movement for the bowlers. I was told about the world record when I came back to the dressing room. Tomorrow will be another practice day for the batsmen because it will be a drawn match.”
Very nice to hear that he is taking the match as a practice day considering he does need some practice on his batting skills. However, what surprises me is that no one is bothered about the game which is being killed in the process. This pitch might be the best track to bat on, what about the freaking game? Is this the best pitch for a test match? Or even an international match? I am not even sure why I am reading cricket news or for that matter caring for a cricket match.
