Audio CDs anyone!
Hmm… I bought an Audio CD after a long time… Really long time. And come to think of it, I feel kinda stupid at first! Does buying music makes sense anymore? Well, I like the music of this particular band Indian Ocean and was listening to the music snippets available from their official site! (that would be a first for an Indian Band I think ) And after listening to the music for the past 2 days, I don’t think I wasted any single penny I spent on it.
The group is almost as old as I am! and I feel bad that I only found out about them pretty recently. They play some real different but pleasent music. A lot of it is musical which I think is pretty cool itself and the vocals are strong too. They like to call it Indian Ocean Music which makes sense as the music really can’t be defined as of any particular genre. Only other singer/group I think is that ways is perhaps Lucky Ali. And I love his music too.
The music of the album Jhini actually grows on you. The more I listen to it, the more hooked to it I find myself. Of course Jhini (the song) is what I like the most, coz thats the one being aired on television… But all the other songs are great in there own ways.
Next I am thinking of getting Kandisa. I have heard it before and it would be another great album to acquire…
