Paranthe Wali Gali and Karim’s at Jama Masjid
I cannot officially call myself a food junkie but I went to both of these popular food joints in the old Delhi. And unfortunately the best part of the trip was the ride in Delhi Metro which continues to amaze me with its cleanliness and organized structure. Paranthas at the Paranthe Wali Gali were well so so and since I am not really a real taster of non vegetarian food, I am not sure how good the chicken was at the Karim’s at Jama Masjid.
One thing is for sure, Metro has really made it convenient to reach the Old Delhi area without messing your common life…

Hey Susubh. Nice to see the way your blog always stands out at Google when it comes to Delhi NCR (the last time I reached here was looking for info on the ‘great lakes of Haryana’ hehe).
Yep, me had a similar experience with the gali…barely 3-4 paranthe waale duh…and me thought there would be rows of them
And then (me not a foodie) didn’t find the paranthas anything like the hype around them (and to top it, me didn’t even take Metro but my car, ouch).
i guess i have had too many experiences in and around delhi ncr
