Creative hates me!
For the second time in a month since I bought these Creative Inspire 2.1 speakers, they have stopped working for me. Last time it was a blown internal circuit. And this time something similar seems to be wrong. I hope they would fix it under warranty once more. If not, I would just throw these away and get cheap Intex speakers.

I might know what you’re doing wrong. I’ve blown my Creative speakers twice to figure it out. You CANNOT keep them switched on for long hours, unlike the usual speakers. I used to keep them switched on overnight and that is a NO-NO. I verified with the Compuage service center… according to them I can keep them switched on for 7-8 hours max. So now I have to remember to switch it off after use! And it sucks big time, I know

now that sucks very bad… i tried doing that. but they blew up in my face when i kept them playing for a couple of hours. i use to turn them off when i was not playing them. but what are good speakers for if you cannot listen to them uninterrupted for long hours!
i bought creative at a price that was double the local brand. i dont hear much difference in sound quality when i compare them to my friend’s intex unit. and this added pressure of switching them off when not using them… evil sad and disgusting.

I bought Creative Inspire back in 2003 and till date they have been working fine. There’s definetly difference in sound when compared to Intex or any other local brands for that matter. As mentioned by null bit above they cannot be swicthed on for more than 8 hours. If you need quality then you have to sacrifice some time for it(Kuch pane ke liye kuch khona padtha hai). Bhai, don’t compare Creative with Intex (Zameen Aasman ka Farq hai).
