ICICI Bank: More problems



The dudes at the ICICI Bank issued me a new debit card last month as my original one was expired. And since the beginning of this month, the Infiniti of their online system is rejecting the digits on this new debit card, which they ask me for verification on every online transaction I make.

Even more interesting. I tried to recharge my Hutch prepaid using my ICICI online banking. The system rejected my new debit card numbers and told me that the payment was not made. In spite of that, the money was credited from my account. And I am still after 8 days waiting to get back the amount which went through despite it being rejected by the backend.

Today, again. 18 days into the new month, the backend again refused to accept the digits of my new debit card for verification when I made an online money transaction to another account.

What am I supposed to do? Rant? I am doing that. Right?

    I have requested to your costumer care telephone lines twise
    and once i had request on line also for my account statement
    I was assured by your persons that I will be gettig it within one weet time but it has passes almost a fortnight
    so it is requested you to please send the AC Statement for the following LBMUM00001090848 at the earliest my contact no 09322598961

    ICICI Bank Monney2India service is simply horrible and I request nobody should attempt to use this service. I have tried their service to send money to India and every time they took more than 10days time, stating that the beneficiary bank has rejected the fund, but the beneficiary bank has always denied the same. In order to get my money back, I had to write numorous e-mails and spent many hours talking to their phone banking officers. The phone banking officers are trained in such a way that they will always bypass your queries and will never reply to you. The ICICI care is another horrible experience, whenever you write a mail, theywill ask of three days time. After 3-dasy you send a mail, they will again ask for another 3-days and so the matter will be dragged indefinitely by a multiple of 3.
    On 9/2/07 I made a request for my remittance to India and ICICI bank had taken my money immediately, but still today, 21/2/07 they have neither delivered the money, nor they are confirming anything about where the money is. I am now totally puzzled about what to do now. I think it is a clear case of cheating by ICICI bank. Hence, please do not use this service of ICICI Bank

    if they exist that is…usually only the main branches of ICICI have a swift code.
    you can also check out the procedure for money transfer to ICICI branches in india. i have found this to be quite efficient. usually withing 4 to 5 days

    im definitely sure ICICI Bank will close the operation within 6 Month
    Same thing like GTB, ICICI is cheating to customer in many different ways. Please im requesting everybody dont open an account with ICICI
    Please remember im just sharing my experince, i dont want others to face same problem
