Why should Saurav Ganguly stay out of Indian Cricket?
I have come to a stage where I have started hating the sport Cricket. My feelings are stronger for the cricket, which we play in India. On the ground and off it. This post is about an idiot they call the dada and he is popularly known as Saurav Ganguly.
There are many reasons I believe that this arrogant SOB should remain out of Indian cricket. This list already includes all the points Indian Cricket Coach Greg Chappell allegedly mentioned in his infamous email. Other than that, the simple fact that he has not come out and said ANYTHING and I do mean ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING on the issue surrounding his selection (or I should say non-selection) in the Indian Cricket Team.
The latest is the entry of the politics in this whole mess. News channels were taking opinions from the netas of our land who all ended up saying that they would be taking the issue up with Sharad Pawar! For god sake, what the hell involve politicians in this mess? The people who would take money to raise questions in the parliament? Do we need to know their opinion about how to run cricket in our country? And all this is when our team is winning!
And then people ask me why I hate cricket. Especially Indian Cricket!

hi … my main question is …what credentials does Greg Chappell have as a coach …unlike Woolmer .. Wright ..who has coached sides succesfully in the past.. as far as coachin for South australia is concerned … it is very well known that Chappell was in the midst of controgveries there as well… players didn’t like him ..neither the team did any good. Chappell is a legend in his own mind. seeing is believing …wining against a Srilanka at home doesn;t prove anything. Shuffling batting orders , experimenting ..is all good but results is what we want. Say Ganguly is sacked and team moves on without him … but what if team India fails in 2007 WC … then we are left with injustice done to past skippers …controversies and controversies .. , an ego-maniac coach, a puppet captain and huge salaries being paid to Chappell and his coachin team

Its all very well to despise Dada….but why take recourse to abuses? You and people like you are fast becoming Australians who think of showing their middle fingers as part of national culture…ok, so we don’t need Sourav Ganguly….Tendulkar is also a mortal…so is Dravid, Kumble, etc., in fact the whole Indian cricket team….and cricket teams elsewhere….doesn’t mean we call them SOB etc…grow up, kid.

Cricket is India’s no. 1 sport, it’s no use to stop enjoying the sport just because of one player. There are other great players out there to focus on, just look at the good stuff mate…

i dont think dada should be staying out of the indian cricket team. He is onr the greatest captains of the indian cricket team, although past but true.Not in the indian cricket team but also it happens in the other sports like recently beckham is thrown out from the england futbol team.It is a great insult to any sports person. these all are great players.so what noe it is not their time but still dada is in great form maintaining an avg of 40+ which is a healthy one. so i am confident that sourav should come back in the team

hi all,
i was so happy wit return of our ganguly. many faults were filed on him. let nt judge him for some little mistakes if made..he is rally a potential guy. i am glad he is back to the field. and beliv he wud do his best., but guyz nt to forget the best he gave for us through his play. he is the best captain i wud say. a best player. the minus point in him is dat saurav often get tensed up…but nw i cud c he is gettin better. he gav us the best, let the past trgic of saurav leavin the cricket team nw b forgotten. he had cum back…he wil do his best again…and glory anf fame..

saurav the bum may be a good bat. cannot field for nuts. we cant have a chap doing cabaret and missing the balls in the first ten overs. the opposition gets fired up.he can cut loose only when the ball is old. i am a sachin fan but i dont get carried away. similarly you saurav goons better see reality.australians are professional. there are instances galore when people with high scores have been dropped in the very next match when found that they have been playing for themselves. but our selectors and captain are week kneed. come on cheer up. back a new youngster who will give you cheer well into the next decade.dont let sarauv use and throw you.

Ever since Ganguli came back to the side, he has been scoring runs in almost every match, and when he failed, the team lost. Some bloggers may not like him personally, hence the unnecesary swearwords. But setting aside these, the anti Ganguli camp just won’t wake up to the fact that when out of form, Ganguli had to go, and he came back to perform, unlike Sachin, Sehwag, Pathan and Raina.
The idea of having young blood as captain is as naive as having freshers as GM of a Company. The need of the hour is to have Sourav as captain again and Yuvraj as deputy for a year or two. And goobbye to Mr Schemer - Chappal.

Ganguly believes in the theory of Self Preservation. He has scored runs to save himself from getting thrown out from the team again. He has not won any match for India so as to speak. The match where the team needed him to score runs, he failed. He is just playing cool coz he has realized that there is no need to be a hero to stay in the team. Just keep scoring runs. Don’t take chances. Play it cool. The team can get out of the world cup. But you would keep your place.

Sourav held up one side of the batting for stability. Opening batsmen do that as a rule. Anyway, if he does not score, he is bad and if he scores, (make no mistakes) he is still bad, because he does it for himself! Sounds like carping.

from what i know. it was rahul dravid who was left unsupported in the last match against sri lanka… the match which resulted in india going out of the world cup.
it’s good that he is atleast scoring some runs. maybe the saurav ganguly treatment should be given to sehwag and other out of form players.

Time has come to let the greats of Indian cricket to take over the Selection Board and Coaching jobs, and to do the selection dispassionately on the basis of performance and poyential. Else, we’ll lose against Bangladesh in the coming series.

people say, ganguli should not be in the team because he cannot FIELD, but why people forget ganguli is not only a excellent batsman but a very good bowler too, whereas dravir can not hold a boall in his hands!! when comparing two or more people, why people forget to COMPARE all the aspects of ?? just because “”i donot like him”" some one is bad, is that the logic behind their comparison?/
