Google Analytics was supposed to show me the statistics for my site within 12 hours of uploading the requisite code. 24 hours and I am still waiting. Maybe it is due to heavy traffic. It raises the question on whether Google should have released this service through invites method as well. In a similar way to Google Gmail which has managed to handle the load of the increasing user base very well.
