We have a chain of them here called olive garden. Its the same thing with whats called chinese food in india is actually not chinese food but food from nepal and eastern india that has been currified. Many indians make that mistake when they enter an authentic chinese restaurant in america and realize that chowmein is not exactly what they thought it was.
