hi,
i am working in a gaming company from previous one year on hl2 game engine(using vc++) and created a demo version of our game, i am an engineer and i also know open gl to a little extent and still working on it, if i am eligible do reply me.

hi all,

There are many companies in india in which you guys can apply as game testers or for any other post for e.g. Babel in N.Delhi, Dhruva in bangalore, gameloft in hyderabad and many more.
As far as salary is concerned, it depends on your experience level and on the company profile. Starting salary could be around 10-12k per month.

can anyone explain what exactly a game tester is???
do u have to be a good gamer(the one who can really exploit a game to its faultless lilits) or u have to be a game developer(the one who actually is a part of the team that works on building a game)???
how can i get into this?
are there much jobs in this field? specially in new delhi?
are there much companies which develop games?

Hai this is jaikanth, i have finished my B.sc Comp.Sci degree in loyola College(autonomous),chennai in 2006, Gaming and the environments and all of the objects embedded around it have always been fascinating for me. i am highly intrested in gaming and i am keen on assuring you that my work will be as hard as anything when his field is concerned so please inform me if you think "intrested freshers" would always prove hardworking..

Hello. This is Arpit.i've always been interested in gaming and other such interactive arts.I've already completed my Bachelors in Computer Application (B.C.A.) degree,along with some certificate courses from Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) and Arena.I posses some really good creative skills in softwares like Adobe Illustrator,Photoshop, 3DS Max, Flash,Adobe Premiere etc.Apart from that,my hand drawing is also pretty much good.But above all,I love gaming on any platform and I usually play games for as long as 8-10 hours in a single stretch. So,can I qualify for a game tester or a character designer?I would definitely like to be a game tester.
