From WordPress to Blog:CMS



I am thinking of moving this Blog over to Blog:CMS from WordPress. I am currently checking it out here. Could have directly switched but well some server issue did not let me install it. So, while I look for a solution to the problem… I will keep testing it there. Why am I thinking of making the switch? The reasons are many…

WordPress is a fine product. But I think for a personal Blog, I can do some experimentation. Blog:CMS looks to be feature packed. Is pretty decent looking. Has enough features to keep me busy for some months and well the best part… It’s designed by Opera users. So no issues like I have with WordPress which is clearly focused towards Firefox users. And well, no plans to support Opera… they seems to promote Firefox in the next release in their admin footer. Which kinda turn me off.

The next 2-3 days of me using Blog:CMS will decide what I decide to use for this particular domain!
