Another rant about WordPress



For some unknown reasons, WordPress has started using Feed: for its RSS feeds. From what I know in my Google hunting, this is not an established standard. No RFC exists for it till now. Just because their favorite ‘RSS Client’ Mozilla Thunderbird supports it, they implemented it.

Talk about being a community based open source browser.

    I removed it from all the Wordpress themes I use.

    The Wordpress image is now contained on your own server btw. Just make sure to reach enough people and you’ll reach your goal :P

    i think they realised their are too many spam blogs running wordpress out there and they can save their bandwidth costing :)
