You just cannot blame the Americans
For complaining that the Indian customer support people (for the uninitiated, the call center recorded machines fresh out of college) suck at providing services.
I just had this funny incident few days back. I was in Gurgaon on a business trip (heh, sounds funny… but it was a client meeting none the less). And I got this call from a friend… The question he asked was, my Windows XP is crashing… What should I do?
Well, I did not have a better answer so I suggested him to try diagnostic startup option from msconfig panel. He hung up after some other talks. Just then it struck me the irony in that situation. He was working in Convergys as a Tech Support for Microsoft.
What the hell…

But, what can these guys do? With 1000’s of bugs in Windows, how can they take care of each of them…
But, nonetheless, it was funny!!!
