We really are a nation of sexually repressed people. I doubt our future industrialization and modernization will bring about any new changes as to how sexuality is perceived in India now. But neither do I believe films like Salaam Namaste are doing anything but trying to make money. The "live in" couple isn't as much of a milestone as just another step backwards bollywood is taking in order to make more money. The 80s are back everyone. That’s true.
