James: Nisha Kothari is no Urmila
Had the bad experience of watching James today. It was raining hard and their was no power in the office so we went to see this movie which had released today. It was a combo of bad script, and poor direction. The hero had few dialogs, the heroine had a funny voice, and the villains were practically chutiya types. The saving grace was practically nothing if we skip the bold scenes given by Nisha Kothari who tries hard to do an Urmila act of Rangeela and Satya combined.
Ram Gopal Varma seems to have a confused guy. His last couple of movies have been oh so confusing. He brings such fresh concepts and using third grade directors… makes a mess of them all. This one is just latest of the series of crappy movies. I hope Mohit Ahlawat gets some movie offers otherwise it would be a shame to see a haryana ka jaat disappearing after just a single movie.
The biggest shame in this movie was the BAD selection of villains. I had already spoken about the guy who played the role of the politician in this movie. He was casted as the main villain in Sarkar as well which is a surprise considering from no angle does he look like a threatening figure. You may as well laugh as him looking at his serious scenes.
The afghani looking chap who was the main villain in James is another idiotic inclusion. He comes he makes a fool out of himself. And the ending was such a disaster. Looks like Ramu saw that the movie was going to be a disaster so he got Rajbeer Yadav to play a little role in the movie. He is as usual fantastic in his little part he plays as Tommie.
One of the most fascinating things… looks like even IMDB considers this a terrible terrible movie… james find no mention on that fantastic web resource for movie lovers…
