Apple Mac Mini as a Laptop Replacement

A friend and I were considering pooling for a laptop, which we can use when we go to our homes. However, this idea struck me while researching on the net. Why spend 30,000 bucks on a cheap Celeron powered laptop when you can get a Mac Mini for 35,000! We have so much hardware spare in office that we can easily keep a spare monitor, keyboard, and a mouse at home and carry the Mac Mini with us instead!

Still thinking about the possibilities while I wait for the latest Mac Mini edition recently launched to arrive in India.

i live in india mate. and they do not make macs here in india. i will have to buy at the price they have on offer around here.

The higher end of the mac mini is available for 24,000rs with the 1.42ghz processor. Indian prices are too high for macs.

P.S. would love to answer the authors wanted ad if you're looking for someone who is interested in films in general (and not just bollywood).
You live in Gurgaon? The only apt comparison would be living in New Jersey, although I'm glad I don't live there. But the suburbs of Washington DC aren't that great either.
