delhi is a piece of shit and i got some new hardware

It’s good to be back. Back to the city I was so afraid of coming to in the first place, few months back. Went to Delhi for a weekend after almost 2 months of hibernation in Panchkula and hated it. Delhi has become a piece of shit with the awful traffic conditions. People are in hurry as if there is no tomorrow. Perhaps they took the famous saying a bit too seriously that recommends completing the work today coz there is no surety of tomorrow. Or perhaps they literally took to the verbal meaning of the title of the movie Kal Ho Naa Ho. God forbid, it’s better to be late than never. While coming back from Delhi, it was too foggy on the highways. We had a narrow escape with the uncle I was coming with doing a Hindi movie like skid sequence. Some other people were not that lucky. Saw at least around 20 vehicles caught in some or the other sort of accident. The worst was a Sonata car sandwiched between a bus and a truck. Hopefully the oh so uncommon airbags worked for the unfortunate occupants of the ill fated car. Let’s hope government makes laws enforcing more security changes in today’s car. An airbag in a Maruti 800 sounds funny but can be seriously considered. It’s worth every penny of it…

Working on the PC for long hours is as tiring mentally as it can be harmful for the hands. So bad it was getting for the hands with the cheapo mouse and keyboard I had, that I decided to go and get some new hardware. Let’s hope for a healthier tomorrow as present is a pain in the ass.
