Converts my mom’s account to e-statements. The backend panel has no option to revert back to paper statements.

And of course, they make it extremely hard to get your statements even online. You only have access to three months worth of transactions on their backend.

They do provide 12 months worth of PDF statements but only if you have opted to receive statements by email. And only after the day you enable that option. WTF.

So, in simple terms… You cannot have both paper and e-statements. If you opt for paper statements, you lose your rights to have access to 12 months worth of statements online through PDF. In any case, you cannot access more than 90 days worth of transactions in their backend.

I have no idea why I am continuing doing banking with Standard Chartered India.

Standard Chartered India continues to send me the same old crap when I ask them to fix their system…

I regret to advise you that due to the system constraint, you will be able to view only last three months transactions through our internet banking. However, a print of your online statements can also be taken by accessing the Print option on the top right hand corner of your Personal Home Page.

Of course, asking for a printed statement costs like 150 bucks for each page.
