Just amused… How many of you and how many times do you use non-Google Search Engines?
... even we at microsoft sometimes use google to find out stuff on the MS site.. ... donnoo how exactly it works.... but kinda cool
yahoo, msn, vivisimo, dogpile, amazon, rotten tomatoes, imdb, wikipedia, furl, bloglines, feedster, dictionary.com, merriam webster, hyperdictionary, urbandictionary to name a few
msn is indeed crap. i am liking the new yahoo mindset search engine though... clusty is another genius of a search engine.
internet is so dynamic. no.1 does not generally exist. and being no.1 generally do not mean, it is the best one out there. intel, microsoft are a good example.
in that case you guys are missing out on some exciting stuff happening in the market. relying on one service... not good.
hey hi whats happening... visiting after long time...
well most of time its google only.. 95 % but sometimes.. I do use yahoo and msn these days coz its bundled in the messenger so its few click away … when I want to know something.. which I am typing in conversation and …lazy to type what I hape already typed in google toolbar to search I sued the embedded search in messengers
Pre-amble;
1. I do not claim to have in depth knowledge of search engines.
2. I do not press to put down google or anyone else.
3. Msn, yahoo, ask, altavista... = none are not here for your enjoyment, it's a money game.
Please do tell me (with facts) if I'm wrong but;
Google has now been around for a long long time, originally getting usage due to their quick loading page an inovative spider based search.
The search info & selection inputted into their page has and will always remain their property.
The lag in information gathering will always leave any other search engine at odds to compete.
Google could concievable block/black list any, page/code/text... without any independent regulator body knowing (let alone caring).
I hope not to sound too dramatic but; with maybe over 80% of traffic going through google, and the majority of info being on the web- Google rules the world???
