Alright. I went to McDonald’s at Manesar Gurgaon today. The experience most of the times is average. But it turned out to be a major irritation.

While ordering the food I specifically asked the server if the food was fresh and not from a couple of hours ago.

He replied instantly that it was fresh and there is no need to worry.

Well, it turned out to be rather stale. Fries were soggy. Burger was cold. The only decent thing was the coffee which is well made by a machine with little manual effort involved. It is very hard to ruin the Georgia branded coffee they serve (sometimes they manage to mess it up too!).

Anyways. We decided to fill up the suggestion form. We filled it up and dropped into the box. Only to realize that the box was not locked.

Well. We had assumed that the letter would not do much as it is usually going to end up in trash. But an unlocked box was something that was mmm not something we could have imagined.

I thought about sending an email to McDonald’s India office. It would probably result in an apology email/phone call. Nothing is going to change at the Manesar branch. It has been a piece of shit on day 1. It is pretty much the same today. Incidentally, this is not the first time I am ranting about them. So, please excuse me if you are getting bored.

The servers there work like robots. They have no interest in serving the customer. Customer satisfaction is low on the priority chart. If you are lucky, you would get prompt service with freshly prepared food. If not, you are going to end up with something we had last night.
