Driving in Delhi

No matter how careful you are, you are always one foot away from death. I know this from my personal experience. I was driving at a moderate speed on the road connecting Dhaula Kuan and Azadpur. And this Qualis was running in front of me. I had kept a decent distance between me and the Qualis to have this carefree drive.

However, from nowhere… the spare tire of the car emerged from under the body of the car and landed in the middle of the road! Thank god, I managed to ride my bike away from it as it went bouncing away from me just around a foot away! A Maruti 800 driver behind me was not as lucky as he managed to smash his car on the tire riding over it for a screeching halt.

Quite an experience I would say. Driving couple of meters behind a Japanese MUV from a reputed company is no longer safer. What is next? Dead bodies falling from the sky? Now I know why I do not like driving at all. It is definitely not safe for drivers who follow rules.
