I have no idea why the hell our politicians are targeting Shashi Tharoor for his casual comment made on Twitter.

He was asked a simple question and he responded to that question casually.

It has been turned into such a huge mess and I am now hearing that his minister status can be taken away!

Twitter is a social network. It has been used by celebrities to interact with their fans.

I think its complete nonsense that he is being targeted for a simple tweet which was not offensive or derogatory in nature. He did not give out that message through an official government sponsored medium.

Our politicians should be encouraged to adopt mediums like Twitter to get in touch with the common man.

If you do not ‘record’ and ‘validate’ every single thing a minister says in real life, why do so with his virtual messages?! Our ministers and politicians have used worse language in the parliament itself.

Barack Obama calls someone a jackass. The video is out on the internet. No one is blaming him for what he did… the blame is on the media which leaked that video out.
